I think either 1 or 1 and a half. .... I counted in the directory once, and saw 1 person listed as just US math teacher, and another 1 listed as just MS math teacher.

And then the theatre teacher who's been mentioned as leaving was listed as a theatre and a math teacher, working at the MS and US levels......

You can't tell whether that teacher was helping with math at the US or the MS level.....Depends on the enrollment of different age groups this year, I suppose.

That’s an awfully nice black box theatre to no longer have a drama teacher.

I took a tour of the place last year for one of their open house events. My wife and I were the only ppl on the tour. It was creepy. The place was silent. Some of the classrooms we were shown were so sparse we decided they must not have been in use. I remember being shown a classroom that was a lab setup and commented that it lacked any visible signs of lab equipment. The guy taking us on the tour didn’t respond. At the end of the tour we were given some snacks and a glass of wine. To enjoy by ourselves in the atrium. Literally my wife and I sitting alone in the atrium. The tour guide left us and we had to ask for directions on how to exit the building.

By my count, there are 16 faculty members (and perhaps 15 since the recently departed drama teacher is probably one of the happy faces here). At least one of whom is listed as being on the Upper School, Middle School and Lower School faculty I guess they get to count her 3 times? Kind of comical how bloated the "administration" headcount is to "faculty" although it looks like some of the admin are also doing double and triple duty. Stripping out the administrators from the faculty headcount leaves just 13 (and maybe now down to 12) pure teaching staff.

What and how is Whittle teaching our children....? Not much and without many resources it seems...

Did you scroll right to get a few of the names hidden on the right of the screen? And also count ELC faculty? I stand by my count (although yours is directionally completely accurate! )

Yes - and 3 of them - SS, VG and MR are also listed as administrators so only 13 pure faculty members.

16, 13 or 10 - any which way, its not what a school that has children from kindergarten through high school should be staffed with.
