Local and state law enforcement said they had been working with ICE before the invasion of the city. One conservative county in the state had reported that after notifying ICE to come pick up an illegal immigrant who had completed his criminal sentence and needed a pickup, ICE failed to pickup and the criminal immigrant had to be released because he had fulfilled his requisite sentence.

Yeah, my point exactly. The only thing that ICE seems to think is urgent is beating up women and terrorizing kids, forcing decent people to get in between them and their victims.

We don't know that's what happened. In fact, it appears the agent in the black hat fires the first shot, as Pretti's body reacts to it.

And ICE agents also carry Sig P320s. And it's not as if every single P320 always goes off on its own. The incidents are real but few and far between.

This video shows the Sig going off.

If ICE hadn't removed his LEGAL gun from his waistband, which he was NOT brandishing, it wouldn't have gone off. ICE is at fault, no matter how you slice it.

This very well may be a situations where we can legitimately claim "guns kill people" vs. "people kill people." If this comes out as the reason why the agent reacted with gunfire, then we can all blame the gun that went off by itself.

But if a person is resisting arrest and has a firearm, they have every right to remove it because it is a threat.

It hurt to hear Bovino put out the “he deserves 10 shots in the back” narrative. Pretti was a VA ICU nurse with no priors. How dare they act so callously about his killing.

Alex’s parents’ statement broke my heart. He sounded like a sweet man trying to defend a woman from harm who ended up with 10 bullets in his back.
