There’s really nothing so urgent going on with regard to immigration in Minneapolis, in the middle of winter, that justifies whatever the hell kind of operation they’re running. If they’re looking for criminals, by all means work with local law enforcement instead of declaring war on an American city. This was all entirely preventable and easy to stop now. Get out.

Local and state law enforcement said they had been working with ICE before the invasion of the city. One conservative county in the state had reported that after notifying ICE to come pick up an illegal immigrant who had completed his criminal sentence and needed a pickup, ICE failed to pickup and the criminal immigrant had to be released because he had fulfilled his requisite sentence.
