Landon up 13-5 when starters pulled. Little bit of a sloppy game. Heights fought hard but no depth. Landon at St Paul’s on Friday should be a good one

Cadets are a program living off the coattails from their 2022 campaign.

SJC was dominated today, end of story.

Everyone at SJC would agree they were dominated today. A lot of games to play. Biggest issue was at the FO position. Not sure they have the remedy this year at that position.

Landon blew out BL's starters 9-4 in the 2nd scrimmage. Landon is okay but not a top tier east coast team. The SJC to BL loss is really bad and will likely lead to an 0-5 start. When you lose 12-4 it's FO, offense, defense and goalie.

Most importantly, the offense is horrible. It really looks like everyone on offense is playing tight, the offense is slow, and the scheme was found on YouTube. One of the worst offenses I have ever seen. Do not even get me started on their clear. I think the team was playing defense for the first five minutes with the offense having only one possession. Matt Miller needs to find an OC fast, and I think he is over his head. Maybe stick to coaching goalies. First, he might need to check his ego. I think the Athletic Director at DeMatha Ed King made another bad hire. What head coaching did Miller have. I would not be surprised that after the 2025 class graduates, DeMatha Lacrosse falls all the way to the bottom of the WCAC.

This sounds like an insider's view?

Preps likely the best team in the DC area this Spring.

After the Hoyas, there appears to be a decent drop off between Lamdon, SJC, Bulis and Gonzaga.

It’s a long season so expect teams to improve over the next two months.

St Mary’s stinks. Don’t go hyping Prep just yet.

Haha. Scrimmage champs should have scheduled SJC instead of Heights... SJC clearly has a FO problem when playing one of the top 2024 FOGOs. No Duenkel is a big loss all around. Lots of games to play. Team will be just fine. Bigger problems at the other dmv schools.

That’s not a good thing for Landon. The frosh doesn’t play offense for his club. Landon d is not so good.

Does anyone have a final on the Bullis - St James match-up yesterday? Heard Bullis up 8-1 at half but then no other reports.

Starters pulled at 2nd half and final was 14-6 Bullis benched was cleared with freshman for chance to get some minutes but defense/goalie gave up 4 straight goals.

Sorry but Saint James is really bad.

They didn’t even win the MAC last year.

Very bad! MAC went to St. Andrews last year so my guess it up for grabs and could go to Potomac.
