I was there last night and thought it was a relatively good clean gsme.
I didn’t think any hit be either team should be labeled as a cheap shot |
Totally legal check, not a cheap shot. Landon #4 was the one who lost his cool and targeted player after play and flag flew. |
You just may be the dense one. Go check out what SJC does in the offseason for yourself - I can guarantee you it’s a ton of lifting then stickwork starting in January. The idea that people think they practice “year round” is funny. I know the rumors will not go away. I just urge you to check it out. Bc they don’t. |
If a flag was thrown, it certainly wasn't a legal check. Typical Prep parent. |
The IAC isn’t saying that. Just Prep parents. |
Clowns just looking for any excuse why they can’t compete right now. Have no clue what the St. John’s program is doing in the offseason. |

St. John’s Lacrosse did you know?
St. John’s is currently on a 41 game win streak against DMV teams. During this run they have the following wins against top DMV teams. 3 wins over Prep 1 win over Landon 1 win over SSSA 1 win over Bullis 5 wins over PVI 2 wins over BL 1 win over Calvert Hall 4 wins over Gonzaga 5 wins over DeMatha Coaches and players know what it takes to be successful and it’s not PLAYING lacrosse all year round. The program follow a very similar college lacrosse team schedule in the off season. If your HS isn’t getting you ready until half way thru the season they are doing something wrong. |
Landon lost by 5 goals and you are complaining about 1 bad call? The Landon kid retaliated after the flag was thrown. Refs are going to call that every time. Sound like a sore loser. |
Who cares |
Right, because refs never get it wrong. 🙄🤣 |
No one cares. SJC is like new money, obsessively talking about it and being flashy and tacky. |
4 wasn't on the receiving end of the check. However ill advised, 4 was trying to stand up for his goalie, who 0 illegally cross checked in the head. The goalie was still on the ground. Good Luck next season. |
Lies. Good news there is video that shows the legal check to the chest (not the head). Nice try spreading fake news. Unfortunately for you there is video evidence that proves you are making up lies about teenagers. Shame on you. |

All the bickering between SJC and Prep boosters, players, parents, and alums is rather lame. I can assure you, the players from both teams want to play the game as do the coaches.
It's rather weird that GP loves to throw mud on the SJC coach for aggressive recruiting tactics and bending the rules etc. etc. when GP is basically doing the same thing. Let's look at some known facts. 1. #33 (hands down their best player) played lacrosse in HS for 5 seasons. Not to mention played at two previous IAC teams (Landon and Episcopal) 2. Prep claims SJC is recruiting players from up and down the Eastern seaboard when they are basically doing the same thing. GP's starting goalie is from BC, Canada. Their fogo this season was a transfer from a Richmond private school who re-classified / repeated his junior year again. Their fogo the past two seasons was another highly sought-after recruit from a Richmond private who transferred in for his junior and senior seasons. 3. One of SJC's starting attackmen this year was recruited from Landon this past summer. Bottom line, I'm all for winning and elevating your program but it's rather pathetic that both of these schools point fingers at one another when they are operating very similarly. Both administrations should set aside their silly egos, and play the game this week. It's unlikely these teams will play next Spring as Prep is most likely going to have a mega drop-off based on how many seniors are graduating. |
| There’s a difference between a parent reaching out to a school and the coach proactively contacting students enrolled in dc area schools. This is why sjc is having a harder time finding top area opponents. |
