The nonsense of they aren’t ready at the beginning of the spring season is just a BS excuse.

Please point me to the top Lacrosse players that play multiple sports at any of these schools? I’ll wait.

Many of the top players at PVI played football

Name them? How many?

Looking at their defense it's not that hard to tell. Especially the big fella who's committed to JMU.

1 guy. Ok

Several and if you know you know.

I presume this is an IAC mom or player that hasn’t played PVI before.

Gonzaga knows

After watching that game I’d have to say St. John’s would win a close game against Prep.

This isn't a complete list of multisport lacrosse players at Landon, there are other kids, but I don't have the program handy.
So that Landon squad might need a week or three to get into playing lacrosse together because they mostly play multiple sports-the way things should be, but SJCHs wants to play in that little window when Landon isn't ready. Landon and SJCHS are 2-2 the last 4 times they have played. The last SJCH win at the start of COVID was a 1 goal game and Landon's all american, #50 didn't finish in front of the net alone with 5 seconds left. A barn burner if you will. I suspect the bears would be happy to play SJCHS later in the season when they are hitting on all cylinders.

Number 0 from Prep took and incredible cheap shot on the Goalie from Landon. Then 0 and 4 served the same penalty locked in. The refs screwed that one up. An egregious cross check that left a player laying on the turf is the same as a shove. Refs blew that one, but otherwise a let them play kind of game.

SJC doesn't have the offense to run with Prep.

Its a damn shame they aren't playing this spring

Sure they do. Prep doesn’t have the defense or the goalie to stop the offense. 4 would score several on that defense.

Hysterical that the IAC is saying they aren’t ready to play when the season starts.

Are these same parents that are practically begging for a SJC-Prep match-up the same ones that complained about SJC bailing from Geico last season and avoiding Bullis?

Same ones that told Prep admin not to schedule a game this season. Real brave after the season is over.

Doesn't Landon required ALL boys to play 2 sports?

You must be dense. Kids that play year round lacrosse at their high school are more ready to play on the third weekend in February than kids that have been playing other sports for the entire year. That is the point.

Name one top player who does not play year round. Many do other sports but still play some lacrosse.

SJC #4 is also a kicker on football team.

He didn't play or kick last year.

Ref threw the flag right away and then 4 went head hunting. 4 also wasn’t called for a cheap shot the possession before. Cost Landon possession and a 5 on 5 goal. Game went from in doubt to done.
