Is U Michigan OOS worth $400K?

eh my kid got into both and chose UMD for CS/math dual major. Got merit aid, and will get a +1 masters. Also have/had amazing internships. They said the are happy with UMD.

The weather in MI is awful. I'm sure Ann Arbor is a much better city than CP, but the weather is awful for a few months while school is in session.

I have no connection to the university, but we visited dozens of colleges all over the country for our kids, and it was one of my favorites.

The reputation, alumni network and opportunities are not the same. That’s not a fair comparison.
