I bet the interns do read this because one of the commercials/testimonials that played today was something like "Rose is great. She brings a that little extra something to show when it's needed." By the way they worded it, I would be insulted if I were Rose. It just proves that all they allow her to do is interject her 3 phrases here and there throughout the morning.

I may be wrong but I think the PP may have *meant* to say Danni bullied Mel off the show, not Sarah.

Ok cuz I was highly confused when I saw that. To be honest when I heard Samy had joined STM I was confused cuz behind the scenes Samy didn't even like Mel that much. Also the reason why I don't think the old crew would ever get back together (besides it seeming that everyone left on bad terms) things were always pretty heated between Kane and Samy behind the scenes. Sometimes working as an intern things would get awkward...

how so? I will say that samy doesn't strike me as an ass kisser.

There were times where Samy would leave the show early, without telling Kane, and Kane would get so pissed and yell, like really yell and slam the door to the studio. Other times where he would show up late, sometimes not show up at all. And sometimes Samy was in one of his moods. Like if he had his hood up the other interns and I would know that it would be one of those days that we would have to stay clear of him. Don't get me wrong, when Samy was in a good mood and ready to work he knew what he was doing and worked hard. There were just times when he and Kane butt heads. I specifically remember when Samy was leaving he said, "Why the hell would I want to have my going away party at Hooters? That's HIS place, not mine!"

To an extent. He reallY is a nice guy, but like most jocks has his moments where you just don't wanna be in his way. I will say the show is A LOT more planned than some people might think.

To an extent. He really is a nice guy, but like most jocks has his moments where you just don't wanna be in his way. I will say the show is A LOT more planned than some people might think.

Planned? Well, duh, any radio show has to plan what goes on air, to get commercials in, to make it sound good, etc, but anyone with common sense knows how fake 90% of the segments are.

I think I remember seeing pictures of Samy's going away party, which was at some place in downtown DC. Kane was in none of the pictures so I figured he chose not to attend, which I found odd. Your explanation makes more sense. They also always joke about how he used to make excuses not to show up at stuff so I guess it would not be all that surprising.

I wasn't too sure about this, I had heard comments made by previous cast members... It wasn't until one day I was watching Kane's Periscope. This was way back, when Kane first got on Periscope and was on it every like five minutes. I heard Kane telling Eric to get his 5 random facts ready. While on the air, Kane was complaining about Eric interrupting them with his 5 random facts. I think they may have slipped up a couple more times, that's why they would announce that they were on Periscope to each other.

Didn't Sarah, Samy, and Erik do it a couple times without Kane? Would lead me to believe the current crew minus Erik just can't handle running a national show with Kane.

Fwiw- this is a great thread and it's really opened my eyes to how shitty the current bunch are at their jobs.
