Gaza War, Part 3

2015 was an insane primary. The people wanted the non establishment candidates (Trump and Bernie) but The RNC actually cheated less that time and let the people’s choice win . They allowed Trump to be the primary candidate even though they absolutely did not want him. I remember Republicans thinking Trump was a troll/Clinton plant /really a Democrat because he was friends with Bill. That’s how awfully amusing the Republican primary was .

I love how you post a clip of Hamas wanting Palestine from the river to the sea and people scream, "terrorists! genociders!"

But post a clip of Jewish settlers saying pretty much the same thing plus explicitly targeting Arabs and people are like, "respect. Mad props. "

Now it is hard in Egypt and the rest of the Muslim middle east for a Jew to just be.

It was a joke in Syria that back then, the middle class and wealthy Arabs would go to Jewish accountants or doctors over their own because they didn’t want to deal with their families/ people knowing their business (financial or otherwise).

While vandalism is certainly wrong, I hope this act is not used to tarnish all Palestinians as "disgusting people" or even "pro-Hamas." The vandals appear to have written "Free Gaza" in red paint and sloshed some red paint around to resemble blood.

As an example of a young Arab Muslim who is NOT a "disgusting person," a Stanford student, Abdulwahab Omira, was mowed down by someone in an SUV last month. The driver yelled out the window, "Eff you and your people!" Abdulwahab's response, from his hospital bed, was to "reflect on the importance of spreading love, kindness and compassion in a world that seems to be steadily succumbing to hatred and prejudice," and he called on others to "collectively denounce hatred, bigotry, and violence."

So please let's not stereotype Arab people as "disgusting" or young people as "stupid and uneducated."

They are still in kindergarten when it comes to public Protest if you compare to The Weather Underground. If you ask me , whether it’s BLM /Antifa or Free Palestine, it’s actually bored young white people that do crazy violent arsonist acts. That’s usually when things get turned up a notch /crazier with arson.

Call me when the Lincoln Memorial is set on fire. It doesn’t seem like the Free Palestine cause is going to get that extent . People learned from the sentences from January 6th and are not trying to get to that extent

Pretty bad when the terrorists somehow sound more reasonable.

But of course they don’t. There’s a good side in this war and, sorry, Hamas ain’t it.

The "good side" is the one that killed 20x more people, including their own hostages, and used snipers to kill women and children hiding in churches?

There are no "good sides" in this war. There are terrorists and murderers. On both sides. There are war crimes/criminals. On both sides. That what the sides are here.

True believers will never be capable of seeing the truth in this. If Bibi and the ghosts of Begin and Meir arrived on their doorstep and signed a joint declaration outlining the countless atrocities committed by Zionists in the name of Israel over the past 75+ years, they would claim it was Arab trickery and shout down anyone trying to discuss it, and shove aside anyone trying to glance down and read it.

Yes, theyd really rather bury their heads in the sand and pretend everyone else is antisemitic and that palestinian children are worth less than dogs. Whatever they can so they can sleep at night while their "good side" is out on another blood thirsty rampage.

I cant believe I'm not seeing more people (anyone??) on the pro-israel side speaking out against the murder of their own hostages or the church sniper murdering innocent sheltering women. Like how brainwashed do you have to be to still be OK with "your side" killing these people and still supporting them?

The silence from Israel supporters about the IDF killing Israelis is deafening. They complain that womens groups from other countries don't make a bigger deal about rapes by Hamas (why should they?), but they say nothing about the IDF.

It isn't just the killing of the hostages they were meant to be saving. They intentionally shot and killed shirtless people waving white flags. That's really really bad.

I wonder what happened to all those men in their underwear? Bet they were taken somewhere and killed. Seems like the MO of the IDF.

They will almost certainly be stripped, mocked, and knocked around. I know this because that's what the IDF did to the Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha after it abducted him. IDF soldiers made him fully undress, hit him in the face and stomach, and humiliated him in what he called "sexual violence."

Some of them will almost certainly die from the ill-treatment. I know because at least six of them, who were taken to the facility Mosab was taken to, have died.

They will almost certainly be tortured to "confess" to being Hamas members. I know this because they told Mosab he was part of Hamas. When he explained that he opposed violence and asked for proof, such as a satellite photo, they beat him and said, "YOU give US the proof." It's clear what that meant.

Thankfully for Mosab, he has friends in high places in the U.S. who were able to get him released after two days, but the IDF stole his wallet with all money and credit cards, the clothing and other belongings he was carrying, his own and his family's passports, and his ID card. None of his belongings has ever been returned. This was after they'd bombed and destroyed his house with all his books and killed many of his friends, relatives, and students.

Basically, if you're a man living in the Gaza Strip, your chances of being killed, tortured, detained, forced to "confess" to being in Hamas, and losing everything you possess are all fairly high.

There are more and more stories about men, and in some cases, women and children, being executed en masse. IDF snipers target journalists and cameramen to prevent knowledge of atrocities from getting out, but there are many such accounts.

You give terrorists respect? Props to the people committing pogroms?

Yeah, religious ideologues are the worst people on earth. Ever hear of Hamas?

Didnt we do the same tactics with the Guantanamo prisoners? Some of them have actually gone insane now . One of them admitted to bombs being placed up gooses butts in a Central Park pond just to stop the waterboarding and NYPD actually believed it and went searching for it. Torture is an epic failure of a method but even police departments do soft torture techniques when they have no leads and have pressure from the department to crack a case . “Just admit to the crime and we’ll let you eat or have a cigarette and let you go” after 12 hours of no food in an interrogation room usually said to someone without any knowledge of the right to get an attorney or how to secure one. This is why I believe attorneys should be mandated reporters of cops or any army personnel/security forces. Most people lie and admit to anything in the moment to get out of a pressurized anxious environment . Only very strong willed people actually stick to their principles when cornered

Yes, and it was a big scandal when we did it. It's NBD for Israel to do, though.

Yes, the US used similar tactics, which set a terrible precedent. Those involved should have been held accountable. In the case of torturing men to "admit" they were in Hamas, the IDF is not looking for information, just a "confession." If you're given the choice between being beaten to death over several days or spending many years in an Israeli jail, the latter choice is probably preferable.
