| So, I am trying to make myself like oatmeal, but I was wondering if there are ways to spruce it up so it is a little more deelish. Any ideas? |

| Besides cinnamon and sugar? My mom and I have started using Agave syrup which is apparently better for you than standard sugar. |

Honey and chopped walnuts. I sometimes make a big batch on the weekend, then add milk when I heat it up to eat each day.
I'm intrigued by the buttermilk idea - may have to try that! |

| I cook it in a half apple juice, half water combo. And I add some sliced bananas and almonds or walnuts, plus cinnamon. SO GOOD. |

| Some recipes don't call for salt, but a little salt during thre cooking process makes a lot of difference with oatmeal. |

toast the oats in a bit of butter before you add them to 50% water, 50% milk. Add mashed bananas and brown sugar when you have 10 minutes left cooking. Splash with a bit of almond milk when you reheat it.
I just made this on Sunday, and I'm in heavan every morning! |
