Speaking of ice cream

Another New Englander here missing those fabulous ice cream stands serving homemade ice cream.

Is there any place in this area where one can buy maple walnut flavor ice cream?

Can't help you but the Hannah Teeter Maple Blondie from Ben and Jerry's isn't bad.

Which Kimball Farms do you go to? My parents live down the street from the old Bates Farms in Carlisle, now it is owned by Kimballs. Now that is good ice cream!

New Englanders know their food! It is why so many miss it here, with good reason. Sorry can't get into the Old Bay crap. HURL! Why ruin perfectly good seafood?!?! Oh never mind, they are probably trying to cover up the rotten taste. Sorry, could not resist.

OP, Old Town Alexandria has one or two ice cream places that are okay.

Pining for a peaceful fresh seafood dinner followed by some home made ice cream during a New England beach visit right now.....nothing like it!

Not the PP, but we hit the Kimball Farms in Jaffrey, NH every summer. Love it!

We were at Lazy Sundae in Falls Church (formerly in Clarendon) earlier today and they had maple walnut on the board.
