| Another New Englander here. We always went to the original Kimball's in Westford. Loved that place. But my hometown had an ice cream stand on practically every corner, and they were all pretty good! |

IMO Moorenkos is a cut above most ice cream around here but it's not really great ice cream. |

| Sorry, but DC has no decent pizza or ice cream. There isn't a sufficient irish or italian working class population here to really pass on how to make these types of foods in a standard way. These recipes and crafts take generations to get entrenched. DC's population is too transient for that. |
