70% also rejected Montoya. |
Why did Jill Ortman-Fouse step down from BOE? Or was she voted out? She's still heavily involved in all things MCPS. |
She ran for county council instead in 2018 (and did not win). |
Nice try but she is not incumbent. Feel free to play again. |
Lynne did not get the majority of votes. A majority of votes means greater than 50%. The are effectively tied. |
Lynne got the plurality of the votes, not the majority.
Jill Ortman-Fouse was a board member until 2018 when she ran for County Council and didn't make it through the primary. She is frequently accused of being a malevolent puppetmaster who runs Montgomery County behind the scenes by certain right-wing accounts on social media. |
Ah. That explains it. |
Montoya is limited. She wants the board experience to get into further politics. Her own school parents say she has not been effective. |
Ha! Only thing Lynne is winning is the amount of flair she puts on her technicolor dream coat when she panders to a certain constituency. She didn't wear any flair during the last forum - not the target crowd I guess. |
What did they say? |
You're horribly mistaken. Montoya is just amazing. Everyone should vote for her. |
+1 |
At the Moderately MOCO forum, she was fantastic. Mandel tried to bait her but she did not take the bait. As much as I am not a huge Harris fan, she was the adult in the room during that forum. |
