Well gee, what else was going on in June 2018... Joe Biden was starting to get serious about his 2020 campaign. And so... someone picked up a phone and said "hey we need some dirt on Biden" - and the best they could come up with was Hunter's investment banking, then retroactively flag it and say "hey we don't know what this money was for or what business purpose" (ignoring the investment banking work that Hunter has been doing for years) along with the flaky commentary about Joe abusing the office (THAT HE DID NOT HOLD AT THE TIME).
