It would be interesting to see if NVA considers applying for both MLS Next and the GA program.

VRSC will dissolve like a sugar rock once STJ or NVA picks up that MLS next league spot. Ironically around the same time the local Medici’s daughter leaves the club soccer scene and he stops pumping dollars into Loudoun 2.0

NVA isn’t getting mls next. They can’t afford to leave ECNL on the girls side.

NVA has historically demonstrated a willingness to make bold decisions and adapt to evolving trends within the youth soccer landscape.

Translation: NVA leadership is willing to screw over the girls program and go after MLS if it lines their pockets.

Plot twist: NVA picks up MLS next for boys and NWSL next for girls when it becomes a reality 12 months from now. The question is begged: how fast will run to your cave?

The real question is which brings in the most $ with the least amount of work to NVA. That will be the path they follow.

Is Loudoun club soccer here with us in this room right now?

The PP is correct. The payoff of playing club soccer in Loudoun is nearly zero.

They are always here. They are obsessed. Addicted even. It's a toxic one sided relationship of stalking by salty parents and coaches. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetically sad. I know some of you btw. It's very obvious by the way you type. 😉

Isn’t VAR pretty much a Loudoun Soccer club version 2.0 with 2 more fields and a Bar? Created and formed by those who got cut from the original Loudoun and started their own thing?

It will be a while before any NWSL youth league comes along. Several years. NVA going to MLSNext would definitely shake things up!

If they do it and lose ECNL on the girls side, then they lost a lot of paying customers. I don't see why they'd do it because the alternative is boys and girls paying for ECNL vs boys paying for MLSNext and girls paying other clubs to play

No one is mad. Just look at the state of club soccer in Loudoun and you will see that it's a joke. There is very little actual player development. It's a big money grab.

People are seeing the growth of MLSN+GA so girls will also stay.

Expecting soccer clubs to be for player development is the joke. These are businesses looking out for their own interests. That doesn't make them bad people. Just normal businesses. Businesses are interested in getting more paying customers, marketing and growing their business. Why would you expect soccer clubs to operate differently than any other business?

If that much is clear, then why are you asking customers to fork out 4K before trips and hotels to have a person yelling like a madman with zero credentials? That’s why MLSN is not going to go for a place like Rev and will most definitely go to NVA.
