Sure, troll. |
Thanks to Charles Allen, he'll be out in 15 years after checking a few boxes on a form like that convicted murderer who was released early and then murdered someone again. |
|
Thanks to Antonin Scalia, he had a gun.
“Conservatives invented an individual right to a gun out of whole cloth. This is the biggest fraud — repeat fraud — on the American public I have ever seen. The Constitution contains nothing like this.” - Warren Burger, Nixon’s conservative Chief Justice. We gotta get guns off our streets, so people like this don’t have access to them. |
When whites shy away from black men they think are a threat they immediately get called racists. It’s a no win situation. This family did nothing wrong. The father spoke with tremendous grace that I would not have if I were him. |
So what you're saying is, white people should make sure they live in an area with as few black people as possible, or take the logical risk of being shot if they don't; because black people aren't civilized and will snap and murder in a frustration borne out of social/political grievances. OOOOOOOOOOOOOkayyyyyyy....... |

Guess Katie shouldn't have been so quick to yell slow down. Sometimes minding your business is the way to go. Husband defended her? He should have stayed out of it too. Point is -- not everyone is you and you need to stay smart and quiet. Yeah. Bedney shouldn't have shot them but if they let him ride by although it offended their sensibilities ...

Not gambling. Thinking they're taking over and what they say goes. Sometimes it doesn't and if you mess with the wrong person, you will get hurt. People lose their lives to gun violence every day and if you're black you don't get the outpouring of sympathy and outrage. It's a small story if one at all and news flash, not all black people do things that should get them shot. But this. This is a big deal. |
Thank you! Of course the guy is nuts but Katie and the husband probably weren't letting it go. Don't be stupid. |
How did that work out in the real world? |
Are the victims white? Just wondering |
If someone tried to run over your toddlers on an electric scooter, you would just say NOTHING?! I would definitely say "dude slow down!". This does NOT warrant being shot. He shot a freaking CHILD!!!! He could have killed both children easily. |
Yes. A young family. |
Except when you're on the street. That's the part you do not seem to get. Sometimes you push the wrong person. The public is just that. The public. You don't know what you're getting. Depending on the response Katie got, the matter should have been dropped. From the neighbor's post, it wasn't. Husband "defended" her. I've seen this before and they just expect to bully the other person because they're oh so right. But sometimes the other person Has a Gun. |
This is victim blaming. Part of being in the public is also getting yelled at when you are a moron (aka: speeding a scooter through a family playing) and then you do not SHOOT THEM WHEN THEIR BACKS ARE TURNED AND THEY ARE WALKING AWAY. As a mom, I tell people to slow down all the time. Why? Because I don't want my kids to get run over. If I was shot by a lunatic because of that, the solution is not "don't tell people to slow down" the solution is to keep guns out of crazy people's hands, or better yet GET RID OF GUNS. Not "mind yourself around the dangerous big city". That's insanity. |
| I'll admit I am victim blaming and I am anti gun too. But common sense tells you that when an adult is doing something as aggressive as running their scooter through kids playing, they are troubled and your words and worse yet, you husbands words defending against this guys response is not the way to go. No one should get shot but do you really think that you telling the person to slow down is going to alter their behavior? At best it's not and at worst you could get attacked. |
