The Cognitive Abilities Test and essay submission will not be administered this year." |

Could someone tell me more about how the "READING LEVEL" has been assessed?

Very short. Something like 150 words, I think. Not enough to really qualify as a essay, even. |
Lexile levels are listed on the MAP score reports, so I’m guessing that’s what they mean. They don’t really do any other testing in middle school that could qualify as “reading levels.” |
It was 250 words, which is about two paragraphs. |

They have always done that with the Cognt test or at least when my child took it. They asked why do you want to go to the magnet program. |
