I think we need to be honest about the hidden costs of illegal immigration. Tell me how many of you have kids in Mannassas Park schools. Judging from APS threads, people are at catatonic at the thought of sending their precious white babies to South Arlington schools. Whle I detest Trump, I was kind of hoping we could have a realistic look at immigration.

This 'love it or leave attitude' isn't useful when a county needs to retain as many tax paying residents as possible in order to maintain the level of services some people have come to expect? This boundary study is sure to leave taxpayers upside down on their mortgages. Such a short-sighted move will require taxes to be raised elsewhere. Growth in MoCo is stagnant. We need to hold proper discussion.

Montgomery County is one of the richest counties in the nation. I don't think we have to worry about taxpayers leaving. If anything, growth is what's driving people away.

Expenditures are greater than receipts. Being a wealthy county doesn't mean it is being properly managed.
