There are plenty of things to not like about McLean, but the qualities of the top 3 girls coaches there are not among them.

Marvin coaches ZERO DA teams. I'm sure about that. He's listed as a coach in case of emergency.

FCV uses multiple coaches to coach DA. Only Bobby and Christian are the head coaches for every age group, but it is a team effort for coaching games and practices. Marvin is one of them and is fantastic.

My little brother used to have play against him when he was a kid. Silver was a really awesome talent that was great to watch even when he was on the other team. I’m sorry your DD had a bad experience. I do not know him as a coach but I figure he must be a good one for being such a great player.

Great players do not necessarily make great, or even just good coaches. Especially for youths.

Still no comments about McLean ECNL coaches. Given that many of their players go to the top programs in the country, those coaches are doing something right. This page says it all.
