Jennifer Dulos - Connecticut mom of 5 missing

I'm sure the sister can hire whatever help she needs to raise the children.

The killer really did not want her found. Albany Ave in Hartford is NOWHERE near New Caanan, although it is much closer to Farmington, where he lived.

She may not have known it was going to happen and doesn’t have a back-up plan on where to go.

She was just a wee bit too focused on moving into a home with a guy whom she viewed as wealthy, athletic, and attractive--- with absolutely no regard for what's best for her daughter or his kids and all that they were going through. And he clearly wasn't focusing on his kids and what's best for them either. Talk about selfish and cold...

I could say that about a lot of formerly married women who never bothered to get a career or their financial lives in order before or after marrying. Rushing into new relationships, marriages, and babies is what desperate women do.

PP here. Moving into the home with a child after the wife left, and the couple isn't divorced yet? I've never known anyone that desperate and trashy.

1)you can never adequately clean up a crime scene that involves blood.
2)there are cameras EVERYWHERE and GPS in every vehicle, phone, etc. It's virtually impossible to drive anywhere and be completely off the radar.

+1 We're all on camera in most public spaces.

Add that the house was basically a gift from his in-laws.
Total trash.
They probably thought the nanny would call him first. I bet they were going to skip town with the kids.
Thank God for that smart nanny.

I find the body language in these pics interesting. Hands in pockets, slouched over (her), arms crossed across chest (both), stepping back away from the officer (him).

I agree but also I find it amazing given what he knew (and what we now know) that Dulos' facial expression is almost smiling and confident as he looks at the policeman.

Meh I think his smile looks nervous and forced.

Umm maybe not exactly like that but there’s a whole thread in entertainment with a woman who married a fellow addict and had his baby a year later while still fighting for custody of her previous two children. Just as trashy in my mind.

Or the Teen Moms threads. One of them married baby daddy #2 who has no job, multiple arrests and killed her dog for nipping their shared daughter. Just as trashy.

He’s trying to establish a bro rapport - is everything’s alright here man.

And he didn’t think he’d get caught.

It worked for Colorado mom #2 killer. As I recall they spent weeks searching the forest in a neighboring state because the ex-fiancee lead them on a wild goose chase with GPS-tracked car.

Wasn't it the GF who took the car at his request?

I don't think it worked for them. They're in jail. They did find plenty of evidence of massive amounts of blood having been cleaned up.

But no body and neither was arrested for 30 days after her murder because the police were chasing the cars route through a dense forest in another state.

They didn’t get away with it because the GF folded but the ex-fiancé used that time to get rid of Kelsey’s body on his vast farm.

What a tragedy. Her poor family. Her poor kids.

The police work seems very thorough and methodical, so hopefully justice will be done.

I haven't read past page 2, so apologies if this was already discussed.

Does this sound like they possibly dismembered her body, and the dumped various parts.

IDK - I think it was just cleaning supplies with blood on them. Why else would the forensic teams still be digging up parks for the body?

For the PP’s saying, “why do these guys think they won’t get caught...” I agree completely.

But an even larger disbelief for me is how he could do this to his OWN flesh and blood- his children. I can understand him hating his ex wife, but wouldn’t the love and concern he has for his kids trump that? To take their mother away from them. I bet he was on drugs too. Did he think he was going to get her money if she was gone? Surely she had it set up so that nothing went to him, right?

I’d be interested to hear the nanny’s whole story. Did the wife tell her to flee with the kids if anything h fishy ever happened to her? What was the lead up?
