No she wasn't. She accepted to be interim and wants to apply for the position when the times comes. Just looking at her linkedin she sounds great IMO.

Agreed! It’s really not clear where parents can get info on what’s happening at Shepherd. Like what’s going on with the construction of the rec center?

Please join the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), Department of General Services (DGS) and District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) on Thursday, August 1, 2019 for a community meeting and discussion of the Shepherd Park Community Center project. The project architect will present a revised design based on the feedback we’ve received from previous community meetings and discussions with DCPS and DPR program staff.
