Why are so many UMC average students "Learning Disabled"?

I cannot quote the whole chain of responses. I just want to address this point. No, it’s not hard to understand differential equations. All doctors have passed calculus. This isn’t something they are unable to do.

I’m finding it a little off-putting how many times you’ve put down your coworkers in this thread. You really come off as having a chip on your shoulder.

You may know a few doctors with LDs but the vast majority of doctors are globally advanced. They aren’t necessarily geniuses. But it’s a rigorous six years with lots of fast paced reading and writing. It’s a difficult field to work in with accommodations. While I’m sure many dyslexics become doctors, most are not going to choose a career path that requires so much reading. If you have trouble reading and memorizing medicine is not for you.
