There are several threads with recommendations, although of course not all patients will gel with all therapists.

I didn’t post in the above thread, but Joan Lieberman has been excellent for me. I was referred to her after a nonviable diagnosis with my first pregnancy, and I’ve continued to see her. I find her smart, caring, responsive, and practical. I resisted taking any drugs for PPA for a long time, and she respected my choice. She didn’t push the drugs at all. I eventually decided to take them, as I was really struggling after a traumatic event, and it was a godsend. But I’ve done a lot of therapy around my anxiety as well.

I know this is an old thread. But, Footer did the same to me. Completely blindsided by it, too. No forewarning, never a concern about his ability to deliver or handle the high risk. He also did not have a plan in place for a transfer.
