I would not celebrate anything until the 8th.
Don't forget the CHIP blackmail is gone. Chuck can still shut down the government, Trumpkins. |
Yes, this. Time to force everyone's hand on the Dreamers. |
The Republicans agreed to make this contingent on a vote on February 8th. They set things up for another shutdown. |
They got CHIP for six years. It's not everything, but it's sure not nothing. |
LOL ...... they need 60 votes in the Senate, the House has to approve anything the Senate passes and Trump may veto it if he does not like it. No DACA bill will pass without funding for the wall, dealing with chain migration and doing away with the diversity lottery. |
Much more important to get funding for poor American children than an amnesty bill for illegal immigrants. The latter can wait. Contrary to the alarm bells Schumer is sounding, nobody is waiting in the wings to deport them. |
Exactly-we are supposed to trust McConnell?! That’s hilarious. |
Worked out so well for them over the weekend ![]() |
They got that. And then they can shut the government again for "illegals." That's how they won. |
It will work way better than this time. CHIP is off the table. So no more crocodile tears from GOP about the poor children. |
Democrats are such suckers! The only ones who came out ahead were some of the Democratic senators who voted against it who can tell their base that they stuck up for DACA. I mean senators like Harris ....... |
So, today the media is all over a DACA vote. What people are not listening to, or even realize, is that McConnell’s offer was not just for a DACA or immigration. The second part of the statement ties all of these things together! This offer and agreement opens everything up to everyone’s golden ticket. |
^^Of course, Trump will crow about the Democrats folding and he would be right. |
|
I mean, it figures that Trumpkins cannot see beyond their fingertips.
See at the next shutdown, Trumpkins. Except you gave up your hostage. ![]() |
