i love this thread "not blog" because we are always ahead of the curve, someone called danni filing for a separation a long time ago and it happened, n now i smell a reality show in the future, of course danni n slim r not really separated. its all fake. Kane gets a separation from Nat, and they all ignore her but danni get a "separation" from slim but they r still "bffs". fake fake fake. Ya we dont "have a life" according to them but what we have to say is obviously affecting them. Have u guys noticed that they haven't talked about their dc ratings in a while? its hilarious danni didnt address us taking about how fake the kane show is. even she cant defend that. If u want a response from them, just tell them the truth, (fake, boring) they respond to that

If Kane kept all the cars, he should sell one of them. He will need every dollar he can get (although I suspect his salary is very high) for the pending divorce.

I like the idea of a "fake bits" thread. That is what that show (and I think Bert Weiss in Atlanta who was on in DC for a while) is based on, at the very least. There are other DJ's that do WOTR as well outside the DC area.

Danni can't accept criticism, bottom line. That is why she deletes comments.

To the person in Minnesota, did you listen to John when he was still there? I really wonder if 99.5 (presuming Danni leaves/gets fired) will move Elizabethany up to that time slot, presuming she wants it. She is on multiple stations (voice tracking) so I am not sure if that is feasible or not. When people make contact (Twitter/FB/e-mail) to a radio station and not get a response, that speaks volume about how much they care about their fan base.

pp/periscope listener here again - someone else also said "kane makes bank" and he replied that he's actually pretty broke after paying for all the things he has to pay for. who knows what the truth is, but it seems believable after multiple cars, a $1m+ house, nice new apt, kids in dc private school, etc. on a radio dj salary (no matter how successful he may be, he's no ryan secrest yet).

He was on in Minnesota when I was in high school and then when I went to college in Iowa, he was on there too, so I ended up finding the Kane Show by looking to see what he was up to since I didn't hear him anymore. The show has for sure changed even in the 2 years I've been listening.. I do wish that they practiced what they preached more, I remember being so excited when Kane followed me on Twitter back when I started listening, of course knowing he follows everyone, but wouldn't the point be to engage with your listeners?

Also, IJ's tweet the other day about "If two people agree about everything, one of them isn't necessary" I can't believe that happened, it's so obvious what he's referring to...YIKES. Trouble in Kane Show positivity paradise...

I was on periscope for a little bit too last night watching them. Kane was showing his apartment and his nice view. I was hoping it was still on periscope so I could watch the rest this morning but it says broadcast not found...

The mistake Kane made was buying a house that expensive, but I still think he is making at least 500K (and that is probably low balling, affiliates really make a difference with radio salaries).

To the person in Minnesota - yes, Kane follows everyone, that is a thing for his show, he had a "48 hour guarantee" and then people would call him out anyway. The reality is most people are not organized when it comes to social media.

Periscope only lasts 24 hours, that is how the website/app is set up. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a way to copy the video and save it forever which would allow someone to post it online.

Any radio show could have people agreeing on a particular topic, but how often does it happen?

The show changed the day Sarah Fraser left. I think people are just now realizing it though.

I said I wouldn't do this but here goes. Slim and I are doing a TRIAL separation. We do not plan to get a divorce but I have issues and my anxiety is not a joke. I don't feel like it's fair to him to make him suffer while I try to heal. While, I am trying to work on my personal issues, Slim is free to do whatever he wants. I don't think he's interested in anyone else but if he does, he's free to do so. He needs attention too. As a man, he has needs. I am in therapy and working on myself. I am not leaving the Kane show and I don't have an issue with anyone on the show. We are a family. We love each other and we are a family. Please stop your speculations. It's not that serious.

Oh and yes I pump, yes I am a working mom and yes I am awesome! Sorry you don't feel that way but guess what? I'll be ok.
