You're the poster at 19:58, since you even use the same "sheep" reference. Right? We get it. You hate reserved seating. AMC surely will regret losing your business. Did you bother to contact AMC to tell them that or did you just post here, where most of us don't have time to arrive three hours early like you did today? |
+1 Love it. It makes it so much easier. |
+100 People who hate it are just odd. It makes it easier for everyone. |
|
I hate it too, I really don't want to be forced to sit next to sick eople who should have stayed home. Or, a bunch of teenagers. I'd much rather be able to move seats.
We've been going to the movies in the kentlands in MoCo, just so we don't have to reserve seats. |
|
Main reason I hate it is because if you get stuck next to someone coughing you can’t change seats. Or next to someone using his or her phone.
Reserved seats are another reason to not attend movies. I’d rather wait until a movie is on demand and not deal with rude people and people coughing all over me |
This. |
And, this is why I hate reserved seats. And I've been searching out theaters who don't have them. I'm the kentlands movie goer, just because I don't want to go to the trouble of reserving seats to sit next to a jerk or a sick person. |
| Some system don’t let you leave a single seat empty between groups. |
I don't understand this. If there are empty seats left for reserved seating, you can move into them. If there are not empty seats left with reserved seating, then you probably wouldn't have been able to move anyway. I mean, I guess if you came super early with open seating, you could have moved multiple times to avoid people, but honestly I rarely have needed to move away from people in theaters unless it was totally packed, or if people kept making noise after the movie started. (If packed, nowhere to move anyway, and if not packed, then just move into a seat left open). |
Well Kentlands theater is closed for renovations for nine months or more, and becoming one where reserved seats are sold. |
Where you the person next us yesterday who was sitting on our reserved seat and complained that the system wouldn't let you leave a single seat empty between groups? Why would the system let a single seat go unsold? I don't understand this logic? |
| luxury recliner reserved seats got me to go back to a theater. Before the seats were crowded together, you had to get there early to buy a ticket and get a seat. Now I just go on line, reserve my seat and I walk in 5 minutes after the "start time" so I can skip most of the previews. Sure, it's more expensive, but it's worth it. |
If you don't want someone sitting next to you buy an extra seat. |
At least there aren't rats running across your feet during the movie. |
| I HATE reserved seating. Its awful. |
