At least Beck won album of the year. So much of todays music is disposable.

Why why why do the Grammys love to lavish one new singer/song with a gazillion awards in one night. Oscars do it too but somehow that doesn't seem to be as wrong to me as when the Grammys do it. Norah Jones comes to mind.

It was particularly appalling that they specified the "Darklight version" of the song (whatever that allegedly is), in order to leave Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne off the writing credits. Including for Song of the Year, which is a credit for the SONGWRITERS.

I wrote earlier that I thought the settlement was well-handled, but this completely trashed it. If they get writing credits (which they must--it's not just three notes, it's the whole melody of the song), then they share the award. If that's embarrassing for you, then withdraw from the songwriter (song of the year) category.

You're missing what happened. He jumped up as if to recreate the Taylor Swift moment, then smiled and got back down. It's clear from Beck's and the audience's reaction that it was a joke. He's grown up a lot since the Swift fiasco. Check it out here -- at first Jay Z and Beyonce looked on horrified -- oh no, not again! -- and then everyone starts laughing because it was a self deprecating joke. http://www.billboard.com/articles/events/grammys-2015/6465654/grammys-2015-kanye-beck-album-of-the-year

Oh no. His after event remarks make it clear. He was totally serious. He explained why B should've won, said Beck and Grammys disrespected the real talent. Etc etc etc.

Not pp, but, in that moment he was joking. Plus, he's right. This isn't a dispute over whose music is better but rather respecting how groundbreaking Beyonce's album was. Do you not agree with that, at least?

"Respecting how groundbreaking" Beyonce's album was?

Talk about an overinflated sense of importance, and another example of why the CMAs are far preferable. They are gracious performers and people.

Those songs don't sound similar to me at all. I never would have made that connection myself.

Also, I really don't like Sam Smith. That voice does not sound like it belongs to him...which is a little disconcerting.

Oh, Madonna! Did you not look at a video before you did this? It looked like the "older" exercise class.

best Grammy show ever. Even if I did not always agree with all choices.

So bottom heavy, terrible body.

I think it's an ideal body.

Lots of times the people you think should win don't. Goodness, even Al Gore didn't run up and steal the oath on Inauguration Day. B cannot win every award every year. Do you think Glen Campell actually had the best country song this year? Come on. Think a little harder.

Some of those dresses look like project runway with a pair of scissors.

UGH!! I thought it was the worst Grammys ever!! All that slow music was killing me! The only time I wanted to get up and dance was at the beginning when LL came out with "Goin back to Cali". And when did they stop presenting the Rap categories live? Hate that I gave up The Walking Dead.

The Oscars do not do this, if they did, it would be upset city yearly.
