Why do you oppose Obama? Why don't you leave given how much you hate him? Also, I don't know whether the user from the Middle East is an expert, but I bet she gets her information from better sources than Tammy and UNCLE KINK.

I think maybe it would be better for everyone if people who can't write basic English sentences would leave. Maybe you'll do better in another language!

Obama is not the country. Obama is the President and unless you know something I don't, he will be gone in three loooonnnnnggggg years.

Now, I am asking you to stop looking up my ip address and following me from thread-to-thread and using it to, I feel, harass me online.

I guess I'm not surprised that you are ashamed of your own views and don't want people knowing they are yours. But, in that case, here are things you might consider saying:

"Given that George Soros was 14 years old and hiding from the NAZIs, I don't believe he had any role in sending Jews to concentration camps";

"I regret relying on comments by unknown people on a blog as evidence concerning Iraq's WMDs."

This is how normal people recover from errors.

This is hilarious. You are so ashamed of your own views that you consider it harassment to be associated with them. Yet, you will not admit that you were factually wrong on the point in question. I am not harassing you. I am letting our readers know that you are a poster who lacks credibility and should not be taken seriously.

You can do that. In my opinion, the proper thing to do is ask the moderator to stop the harassing behavior, which is what I am doing. I have no issues with you calling me out on something you don't agree with. But make no mistake, taking the extra time to seek out my posts by IP address and calling them out in multiple threads is indeed harassment.

Rest assured, though, you will not chase me from this forum. I believe firmly in free speech and have a right to my views, as do you. Again, I am asking you to stop specifically singling me out using IP address. You can continue to express your views in response to anything I post. That is your legal right.

Why don't you just create a user name. Then everyone will know who you are, and he doesn't have a reason do that anymore. If you believe in your opinions, there seems to be no downside and you are still anonymous.

Do you want to continue in this? Really? Are you going to assert that Iraq is better off now? That is flat out wrong. It is a living nightmare for the vast majority of people living there. Go ahead, dig in.

I'm sure for those that got preferential treatment from Hussein, this is much worse. That's the way it is when the ruling class is reduced to that of the other people.

Go ahead, keep bullshitting, it's pretty obvious. Life in Iraq is horrible for regular, everyday people, the same people we were supposedly "liberating." So again, thousands of U.S. soldiers maimed, thousands killed, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis dead or displaced, billions of taxpayer dollars down the toilet, but I guess Kurds are less miserable? Yeah, that seems worth it.

You live in the US, right, and are Iraqi? Why are you here?

Sorry, none of those facts are any of your business, and you're addressing more than 1 poster as the same person. Facts are facts, if you want to get personal, maybe you should share more about yourself and what your agenda is.

I am simply wondering why some folk from other countries come here and then bash our way of government, call us murderers, etc. Seems counter-intuitive.

"Love it or leave it" really is the last refuge of scoundrels.

You don't have to "hate America" or our system to realize that the Iraq debacle was a national tragedy. From the admitted war crimes committed by the Bush administration to the 500k-1 million Iraquis who died prematurely, to the hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars thrown down the toilet.

In fact, I'd say it shows quite a bit more love of America than excusing some of the worst policy mistakes of the last century for purely partisan reasons. That's the real betrayal of America.

The moderator of a forum should not be behaving in this fashion. It's simply bad behavior.

You're watching the scandals I assume? IRS and AP especially? There seems to be a downside to free speech these days in America, if you are on the wrong side of progressives.

The problem is not with the poster's expression of their opinions. And this isn't a love it or leave it attitude being expressed. It is simply a question of choice really.

I'm asking why this poster makes the choice to stay.
