Do you shower everyday?

heck, no! The chlorine content alone in the DC water is enough to keep me out of the shower. I wash underarms, down below, and feet with soap and a washcloth on the days I don't shower. It's not like I just don't clean at all for weeks on end, but I generally only shower every other day or every third day.

+1 It's like morning coffee for me. I even did it daily when my kids were infants and toddlers, I never chimed in when moms proudly said they were too busy to fit it in.

Here, too. I feel disgusting without a shower, as well as unmotivated.

Add me in here too. Completely agree with how it's my morning coffee, I simply cannot even open my eyes fully until I'm in the shower.

And FWIW, this is not simply an American thing. In my culture, everyone showers/bathes first thing in the morning, every morning.

If you don't want the vagina to smell, don't wash with soap. If you only wash with water, the natural pH balance will keep it from smelling bad. Douching, or washing with soap actually CAUSES the smells. (Unless you're sick. An infection or something will also cause a smell.)

I take probably 5 showers a week, but days vary on what I've been doing. I only wash my hair 3-4 times a week. It's very long and tends to dry out if I wash it too frequently. DH runs every morning, so he showers after that, and usually, not always, showers before bed.

I do this too.

Hand-held showers are the best invention. You can half undress and powerwash your undercarriage very quickly. Also works well on feet and little kids. I take a couple of these partial showers a day, and a full one with hair washing every other day.

Wish I could convince my lazy husband to shower more than once a week. He doesn't have any BO, so he thinks it's fine to go without. He still gets greasy and kind of stale.

Gross, you need to use a wash for that area

Not pp, but No you don't. You might, if you always have, but water works fine. In many women, soaps irritates the skin there making it more vulnerable to infection and irritation.

I shower every other day. I don't have oily hair/skin. On the days I don't shower, I do a quick cleaning of the necessary body parts to feel fresh.

Showering daily really dries my skin and my dermatologist recommended that I try to keep it to every other day.

Barring half lazy/half sick "not leaving the house" types of days, yes.

But I don't wash my hair daily.

And I don't exercise, so that's not a factor.

Eww.
In all honesty, I can't even begin to imagine how people living in this area can get away with no showering..it's so damn humid and sticky all the time, I feel like I need a shower every time I go outside.

I'm a female who showers completely every 3-4 days. I get my hair blown out once a week and I try to let it go as long as possible between washes. It's made my hair a lot more shiny and better not washing daily.

I still use the handheld shower attachment daily on my body as well as washcloth baths.

I rarely smell or get greasy hair though.

Yes and so do my children.

I workout hard (sweaty) almost every day--but even on the days I don't I still shower.

I shower about half a dozen times A YEAR.

However, I bathe almost every day.
