Amen! Some people will never have the perspective. They will always raise hell each time something doesn't go their way.

To the poster who said its a parents responsibility to find the best education possible for their child: I'd say that you can go to far, and at what cost? This also seems to be a commonly lost perspective in dc. And to the parents who would "flip out" if their child were in this classroom: maybe you could take a deep breath and realize that there are usually unexpected benefits to these situations.

That's "too far". And no, I did not make that mistake because I was in an open classroom - just typing quickly on a phone!

Considering that 43% of the school age children are enrolled in our local charters, that over-crowding in DCPS traditional schools is a rareity. It must be at the diverse schools where parents are glutton for punishment.
