Does anyone else think that Kate Middleton's wedding dress was a little dull?

Her dress was pretty and she looked lovely. I agree that she could have worn something grander but again they want people to think that they are like everyone else. So they also drove off in a small convertible butof course that did not save the tax payers anything.

The small convertible was an Aston Martin. Most everyone knows that is not a modest car, so I don't think they were trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes when they did that.

Her mother looks damn good for her age...I think that is a good omen for Kate.

The fact that she's a "commoner" might also have something to do with their decision against a "show-stopper" wedding.

Yeesh, I thought she looked fresh, radiant, and lovely. She also looked incredibly happy and composed, which is more than one could say about Diana on that day (as much as I loved Di). Her dress was gorgeous and appropriate for the event. And you know what, she's incredibly self-confident so I don't think she is second guessing any of her choices, including her lovely dress. I don't think the nay sayers here would be satisfied with anything. There's always something to criticize.

I loved the dress, very Grace Kelley... wasn't so crazy about the 2nd number. My gripe is that Kate looks emaciated. She was much prettier before she went on that pre-wedding diet. Also, I heard a rumor that she did her own make-up... if this is true, big mistake. If not, she should fire the make up artist. It just did not work with the lighting and it is the main reason she looked so much older.

Agree w/ PPs that she's not gorgeous. Pretty, but not gorgeous.
