In case this slipped your dumbass mind, you can have all the anal sex you want in a marriage, and you will not get AIDS from it unless you are cheating on each other. And in case it also slipped your dumbass mind, AIDS gets spread by vaginal sex, too. Look at Africa.

True, IF you're sure your partner doesn't have a past of sexual activity with persons whose medical issues are unknown.

Very true. And, though they likely won't admit it, this is a major problem in the gay (esp. men) community.

No. All you need to know is that your potential spouse is HIV negative, which, if you are a gay couple that wants to get married, you have figured out a long, long time ago.

Thanks for clarifying, but now I'm confused as to why so many gays become HIV positive?

You are a hateful person. I have reminded you in two separate threads about Jesus' commandments, and yet you keep doing this. If you wish to capitalize on a disease to spread your hate, but the cock has crowed twice now on you - once on this thread, and once several months back. When you have to meet your maker, you can't say you were never warned.

Sin is often unhealthy . Just a reminder. Viruses don't hate.

You are obviously not a virus.

Yes, hatred is bad for the human soul. It hurts like hell after you die.

Don't pretend for one minute that Jesus would say what you have said to gay people. Read your bible. And stop using his name to justify your hatred. It is blasphemy.

Jesus hates sin. Sodomy is a sin. Gay "marriage" is an attempt to sanctify sodomy. An act that lucifer would applaud.

Who sanctifies things, God or Government? Government, you say?

Jesus said "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's." He recognized that the law and God's law are not the same.

civil unions not "marriage" "Civil unions" doesn't give it the religious connection. That's what people object to. Just give civil unions equal rights to marriage and everybody should be happy.

Better yet--make ALL legal "marriages" civil unions, and if people want that extra something--it should be the burden of the religious folks to add it at their church.

That way, my atheistic self who couldn't give less of a rat's ass about god and sacred shit does not have to be saddled with YOUR sacrosanct, religiously loaded marriage moniker.

Blammo.

I'll have more respect for you if you are an atheist on your deathbed. As long as you are healthy I'm dubious.

Nice red herring. I don't fear death, and I don't worry about an afterlife.

We have one shot to do good by our fellow humans, and this is it.

You could learn that lesson yourself, dippy.

Right, as I pointed out up-thread, the "sodomy" poster clearly worships the anti-Christ. If they're right, and there really is an afterlife as described in the New Testiment, they're going to burn in Hell for it. Nothing Jesus hates worse than phony Christians.

Just on a logical basis it would be stupid not to believe in Christ on your deathbed. There is no downside. Anybody who doesn't do it is not very smart.
