Boys? Some of the players are pro athletes in their thirties. These are not boys.

they are all NHL pro athletes...this was not the 1980 Miracle On Ice.

Which is why they will never compare to the 1980 team.

I even went to a NJ Generals Game when he owned that. Doug Flutie was QB, he did wrestlemania events, did tons of boxing matches in Atlantic City, had many PGA golf tournaments at his courses.

He is very well known in the Sports world long before even the Apprentice stuff and his run to be POTUS.

I recall Tom Brady got heat once about his relationship. He was like I got first big contract when young. I wanted to buy a condo in NYC. Who sells condos to rich people well he does, I got introduced, we had lunch, he invited me to play Golf at his course, I like Golf, I played with him I did not buy a condo from him but he gave me good advice as he knows real estate. So there it is. This is almost similar. Sports people have a relationship with him outside of WH. Because for over 50 years he hires athletes and even owned a team.

One football player he is friends with had played golf with him over a dozen times at his course. He was like I like golf, he owns a golf course like once a year he invited me to play golf with him for free, he buys me lunch for free at his club, we have a nice day. To be clear any Billionaire who owns a golf course I am available for free golf and lunch. I laughed at that.

You have gone way off topic to defend misogyny against US Olympic gold medal winning women.

A silly little joke is not misogyny. There are lots of examples of misogyny, but this is not one of them.

Another reference to the joke, but still no one has explained why it's funny.

What was the joke? It is three pages ago and no one has explained it.

Are you serious?

For the men’s? I think that’s a lot of people were after some comments were made. I was just indifferent. Without the US goalie Canada would have handily won, anyway. That guy was a one man team.

The Jim Craig of 2026.

Our neighbor Canada is our Russian enemy in that analogy? Stupid analogy.

Where should it be when the team is partying with the FBI director and and listening to the president of the United States make fun of the women's team?

MAGA feelings are hurt-they enjoy their christianity with a side of misogyny. Don't rain on their parade.

I'm sure not all of them will go, just as not all the Nats did, but can you please just choose more wisely what hill you are willing to die on?

Not everything has to be political

Clearly you don't know what you are talking about.

This whole administration is an embarrassment. Every damn day.

That’s sad you’ve lost your patriotism. I feel sorry for you.

Did you vote for this....then I feel sorry.... no actually I feel disgusted by you.

"Thinking about the hockey moms that spent over a decade of their lives driving their sons to and from hockey practice and games just for their sons to grow up to become Olympic gold medalists who laugh at misogynist jokes at the expense of women."

So powerful and true. Each and every one of them should be ashamed of themselves.

Have we heard from any of the hockey moms?

Not a hockey mom, but I can speak for sports' moms. They are thrilled with the win and could care less about your hurt feelings.

I know a lot of hockey dads that talk and think like trump.....lots of maga vibes in hockey. SAD! They are always berating and yelling at their sons creating more toxic males.
