Is this really happening?????? |
Can't find it |
Link? Bacon and Massie were leading the anti-tariff effort as recently as yesterday. |
| There is no reporting on Bacon’s resignation nor is there anything on his socials |
| He announced in July. I did a 2 second Google search to find this info. IDK why so many think this is a mystery. |
I can’t find this in the news. Please provide a source. TIA |
It would be a mystery if he immediately resigned, which he did not. He announced six months ago that he would complete his term and not run for reelection. Why that PP is posting old news is baffling. |
right after infrastructure week |
They should just flip and vote with the dems and resign at the end of their term. |
Can they find a ninth and just recall Speaker Johnson? Then, negotiate with Dems for speaker? |

REPORT: 8 Republicans are heavily considering retiring in the coming days. Matters worse, the reports floating around suggests they will retire that same day, leaving enough vacancies to put the Democratic Party as the majority party in the House.
Of the 8, 6 are from vulnerable seats and the remaining 2 are those who feel like Mike Johnson has lost control of the Caucus and has ceded too much authority to Trump. To make matters even worse, it's being reported that Neal Dunn is rethinking Mike Johnson's request to stay on and will resign effective immediately.
They should just flip and vote with the dems and resign at the end of their term.
This. Less chaotic. Which would frankly be a plus at this point. Time for Congress to focus on the nation and give partisan politics a rest. Trump has clearly lost the plot and the cabinet is woefully incompetent. Time to hit glass. |

Someone’s really trolling. |
Maybe just alternative facts, no? |
