This should be why your kids have no faith in Trump. Someone recently posted a copy of a 2008 letter from Obama’s office returning a gift (a book) a constituent had sent. His office thanked the sender kindly but said Senator Obama had a no gift policy and wanted to adhere to it strictly given the recent scandals with congressional gifts. All politicians do not behave the way Trump is behaving. He’s accepted 300mn$ in crypto from a Chinese firm, a 400$mn Qatar plane and announced Saudi hotel deals just in a single week. |

It’s no better than what he has, and less better than what is already in process of being built for presidential use. I think the only thing he likes is use after presidency - but may take years to remove all added security features.
It seems he is accepting his term will end and he wants a plane - I think this all started because he was able to refuse Biden a ride on AF1 for pope funeral and it got him thinking… |

DP but...this plane is not truly free. The government is going to have to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to completely take apart and rebuild the plane in order to secure it for service as AF1. So as a taxpayer, this is the kind of expense I'd like DOGE to take a look at. |
