This woman is not an impartial voice. She is a leading never Trumper.

Why do we have to believe his motive for stating this is pure? He didn’t offer anything but his personal opinion. He provided no concrete evidence of Trump planning a fascist government or dictatorship. He hasn’t even spoken to him recently.

I personally believe he is part of a hit job by the Harris campaign and their liberal media allies. They know Kamala is losing the election, so the campaign and its media allies have launched incessant personal attack against President Trump.

You clearly are ignoring trump's own words.

"I will be a dictator on day one"
"We need to use the National Guard or perhaps the Military to deal with the enemy within"

Our friends and closest colleagues usually say nice things about us and it's not that compelling because it's in their own personal interest to do so. But when a close colleague or friend says something negative, that puts them at risk, it's brave and more credible. Kelly has nothing to personally gain from this. He is a Republican who used to believe in Trump - until he worked closely with him and saw him for who he is.

+1

Kelly expected Trump or any president for that matter to be deferential to him rather than the other way around. Also, this episode bothered him so much he waited 4 years and two weeks before the election to get it off his chest?

A) Kelly expected Trump to be deferential to the Constitution and the rule of law, not to him.
B) Kelly has been talking about this for years - to Goldberg and Schmidt and others - but didn’t go on the record until now.

Hw came out two weeks before an election, while people are already voting, in order to attempt to swing the election against a former boss he dislikes.

He’s been critical for years.

Too little to effing late. Him, Woodward, Bolton all those book writers who kept quiet during impeachments and made money instead. Rot in the hell you helped create.

Many many of them are saying this. People who are lifelong Rs, served in the military, held office. Trump himself is not even a real republican. He was a democrat until he decided he wants to be a dictator. Then he realized his path was to appeal to the uneducated/racist/misogynistic portion of America. I know the truth hurts, but please. Take a good, honest look at his actual words and actions. Nobody is fear mongering or gaslighting you. We are only referring to things he has ACTUALLY SAID AND DONE! Kelly is referring only to his actual words and actions. If you are assuming a republican four star general is lying with no basis for this other than your loyalty and obsession with Trump, then it is time for you to do some serious soul searching.

You need to understand how delicate this “democracy “ is. He has set the stage and lifted the guardrails. He WILL burn the whole thing down. Again, this is not fear mongering. HE IS ACTUALLY TELLING IS THAT’S WHAT HE PLANS TO DO!

“Real Republicans”? Trump has the support of the vast majority of Republicans. He won an open primary. Yet, you only call his minority of detractors “real Republicans.”

Trump has not told us he is planning to end our democracy. Neither have these couple of former staffers who haven’t spoken to him in years and have no knowledge of his plans.

Yes. He. Has. He said he would be a dictator on day one, demolish the constitution, unleash military on Americans, jail political opponents. These are his words. Good grief. Start listening to his words.

Anyone who believes this nonsense two weeks from the election is a complete idiot or an ideologue.

Anyone who thinks a conservative 4 star general who doesn't like to be in the limelight for political reasons is lying for no gain whatsoever is a complete ideologue. And an idiot to boot.

BS. He was fired and sat on this until right before the election? With the family in question coming out to say it didn’t happen and multiple witnesses? Again, idiot or ideologue.

Did you read my response about the fired general?

Found the ideologue!

Note: Liz wasn’t there. The witnesses who were support Trump.

#MemeOfTheWeek: Comparing Donald Trump To Hitler

MARCH 11, 201610:58 PM ET
By
Sam Sanders

So, cue another round of "Trump is Hitler" think pieces and tweets and cable news conversations.

So far, celebrities, like conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck and comedian Louis C.K., have compared Trump to Hitler, and even world leaders, past and present, like Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and former Mexican president Vicente Fox have done it, too.

"I don't want to offend anybody, but I can tell you that it's been amazingly received," Trump said of the hand-raised pledge. CNN reported that Trump said, "I don't know about the Hitler comparison. I hadn't heard that, but it's a terrible comparison. I'm not happy about that certainly." He continued, "Well, I think it's [the comparisons] ridiculous, I mean we're having such a great time."
