…except no they didn’t. That’s literally not what the Instagram post said. That’s what you read in one linked news source; by the way, US Weekly said the photo was “taken earlier in 2024.” Here is literally the caption on the actual Instagram post:

So it was taken in the dead of winter in early 2024? With green grass?

I don’t know what to make of the photo. When compared to the Christmas photos of the children, Louis is now missing a tooth, and Charlotte’s lateral incisors have grown longer, so it couldn’t have been taken last fall.

But it’s also doubtful it was taken very recently due to the foliage.

So when was it taken? Or is it edited?

If you look hard enough at anything you will find something amiss. I think the pic was taken post-surgery, I have no idea if it was edited. I don’t think it’s 2 different pics that were spliced together.
