Have a male older mentor.

The problem with that question, however well-motivated, is that the economy and thus employment environments can change and do change on a dime (hello 2008 recession, hello Reagan vs Carter administrations, etc.) I chose an academic career in the sciences when there was funding for conducting scientific research. I had great funding for my work. It has diminished drastically over the years. There isn't a single career (law, medicine, research, interior design(!), in my family that hasn't changed drastically since we all started out. To me, the only sensible advice is "follow your heart and mind and be ready to pivot and pivot again.."

Trust your gut and learn to really lean into that.

Work will become very political once you get to a certain level. Start working on soft skills and understand external perceptions of you early on.

Look for a diverse work environment
Always defend your reputation and stand up for yourself- schoolyard bullies still exist as adults
Have a an exit plan and a plan B to fall back on- this may mean you have extra skills or certifications-good for your mental health to know you have an outside
Invest your income from day 1 for you future self
Find a group of allies for support
A wise older mentor can be great
Be nice to the boss and say yes if they directly ask you to do something.

Elaborate on #1?

I worked mostly in male dominant field. Never knew what it’s like to have girl cliques at work.

Oh...I should have stated that I work in a field heavily dominated by women!!

You’re doing great even on the days you think you’re not.

Feedback or criticism you will receive will not *really* be about your actual performance.

Misogyny runs deep. That good ol’ boys network is in full swing working to keep you down, even if there’s lip service about equality.
