Notice how the terms “pressured” and “forced” are being used to make things sound extra sinister.
He didn’t want to be a parent and said so. In the end, she didn’t either. She wasn’t victimized. She was the only party who ever had a say in what would happen to her pregnancy. People blaming Justin for Britney’s meltdown should focus instead on her parents, especially her father. |
The sister lost her entire blossoming career and became nothing more than a stay at Home teenage mom. Brittany is her entire family’s meal ticket including paying for said sister and baby. You are way too naive to think that her parents would have actually allowed Brittany the same fate by having that baby. |
Exactly. No way her parents were letting their meal ticket get off that path |
Oy vey she lost her “career” on a Nickelodeon show because she chose life for her daughter? Wow just wow. That career track always leads to so many good things for the hundreds of other damaged and destroyed Nickelodeon alumni… |
So, what? Who cares what the sister did? Different people. Different decisions. And your use of "killed the baby" is inflammatory and unnecessary. Shame on you. |
Wow, who knew money and "resources" was all it took to be a great parent? |
She still lost her career and all sponsorships and ended up having no career. Luckily she had a rich sister to fall back on instead of being yet another teenage statistic on welfare. I don't think they had teen mom on MTV yet to live off that exploitation. |
+1 This. I don't think people are understanding the extent of mental illness in that family -- for sure, her dad and his mother. I don't know about Britney's mom and extended family. |
wtf kind of comment is that? |
No, the victimization came when she was asked on a national platform if she had had sex. AND when the father of her embryo discussed their sex life on a national platform. I agree her parents and Dad were no help. |
Wasn't it also with Wade Robeson, who was his best friend? |
As a longtime Britney fan and follower, it’s very clear she’s unwell. Honestly, I don’t understand how this book was even written. I’m not saying these things didn’t happen to be clear but the present picture is just so sad and troubling. |
He was her choreographers, was he tight with Justin? |
Accurately describing what she did it "inflammatory"? No, it's not. She killed a baby. Her kid sister in a similar situation, at an even younger age, did not kill a baby. Britney is describing this abortion trauma in her book. It is not a leap to suggest this immediate first-hand experience with her sister made the trauma that much more acute and contributes to her issues to this day. Especially as she sees her kid sister's baby grow into a young adult woman. That niece is a beautiful but sad reminder of what she did and what Justin (and the wicked money-hungry people around her) coerced her into doing. Britney's career wouldn't have ended if she had a baby at 19 or 20. Reese Witherspoon had a few around that age and is still an A-list movie star. |
Since when do you have to be a "great parent" (whatever THAT means ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
