Everyone except Richie and Tina seem one note this season. Carmy is always in the same mood, Claire is annoying, Sydny is just confused and low energy. They all have nothing to work with. |
Completely disagree. You’re confusing her character’s personality with her acting capability. |
Show is sooooooo cringe. "Hype" is all the result of fake astroturfing. |
Thanks for posting this. I stopped at 3 too. But I’ll keep going!! |

DP: I love the character, but I get where PP is coming from. Her storyline is the most confusing sometimes because I'm always like, "what did that mean?" I'm often not sure what her body language and facial expressions are supposed to be telling us, and this show relies a lot on the unspoken. Carmy misses the mark on the unspoken a lot too. Mostly they are amazing though, so all good. Agree the cliffhangers are beyond annoying. |
Agree Richie, Tina, and even Marcus, are really hitting all the notes. |
lol |
I never thought this show was all that. It's just constant screaming the whole time. Yeah ok, we get an 'authentic' kitchen experience. So what? It doesn't mean it is good TV. |
Jeremy White plays the same character in everything. He's depressing to watch. It could be a sequel to Shameless. |
Marcus not Malik. |
Yes you are confusing this. Ayo is working w the script she’s given. What else is she to do? |
I dislike the fine dining angle. Kept hoping to see more in the Italian beef shop. The few moments that were shown in season 3 had so much more energy, warmth, humor..
There’s so much out there (mostly movies) about chasing a Michelin star(s), and The Bear doesn’t really have anything new to say about that. I feel like I’ve seen this play out elsewhere, better. I hope they find a way to get back to Season 1, which was fire. |
was disappointed in this season, outside of the Tina episode. I hope Richie gets with the front of house chick from Ever. |
Did you notice that the "one person" episode focus specifically on Richie and Tina were called Forks and Napkins? |
