Yes to all of this. Pure disgust at what we did pay per ticket. BUT it was incredible show! Lowest we saw all weekend was 900 an hour before she went on fri pm. But cell service was very spotty so it would’ve been near impossible to buy those tickets outside the stadium. |
Denver got very expensive right after she announced Speak Now TV since it’s the weekend after the album will be released. |
I’m guessing that the prices for the Pittsburgh tickets will go up after the shows in NYC Memorial Day weekend.
I don’t know how anyone is affording this. |
All shows are getting more expensive as scalpers have seen what happened in Nashville in Philadelphia. Not a single ticket for any city currently listed under $1200 plus fees. |
This is very true. Out of my group of girlfriends/mom friends, only 2 of us didn't go for Philly. I went to Nashville and another friend went to Tampa. The other 12 or so all got tickets for Philly or bought them through resell avenues. |
I don't understand how so many young people are affording multiple shows! I watched a TikTok livestream last night from a young woman who was at her 4th Taylor show on this tour! And not only that, but she also has tickets for Boston and Denver. My ticket to Nashville night 1 was $263 with fees during the presale. I scored a floor seat ticket for $86 with fees for Nashville night 2 during a ticket drop. It's possible she's just very very lucky during the drop periods and is getting face-value tickets, but even so, that's a lot of $$ to spend on travel to each of these locations. |
My niece got front row for $500 something each for one of the Kansas City shows and I was like wow, that's pricey. She's a 25 year old super fan with some extra cash
The fact that people are paying 1000-2000 bucks is flipping shocking! |
Wow. I know someone who travelled to Nashville for the show, now I get why. |
Went last night with my daughter and niece, it was the night of a lifetime. I bought tickets resale but before Christmas and they were about 600 each for nosebleeds, I gambled that the prices would just go up and looks like I was right. I would pay it again in a heartbeat. The show was amazing and to be there on Mother’s Day with my daughter and see her tears of joy, I’ll never top it. |
I agree that it’s hard to understand how so many can pay so much for a ticket. Especially a ticket for a kid. Not sure it’s a good lesson to teach kids. |
I got nosebleeds during the presale and they weren’t that much. I think I paid less than $200 per ticket. The expensive part was the hotel, the absurd food prices at Lincoln field and the merch. For us it was a once in a lifetime experience. |
Honestly, I was going back and forth between Nashville and Philly. All my friends in this area picked Philly. I had a feeling that Philly would sell out faster because there were no nearby DMV shows. I have been to Philly several times and had never been to Nashville, so I went with that option. I'm glad I did. I still had to wait online for 8 hours to get the chance to buy a ticket, but once I was in to make the purchase, I was able to get one of the 3 areas I wanted and was able to pick a seat on the end of a row + the one next to it. Also, I don't care what anyone says, there WAS dynamic pricing in play. The tickets for Nashville were significantly lower than Philly. I sat in the same room on the same couch next to my friend who was going for Philly. Her 200-level ticket, which is what I had in Nashville, was almost $400 with fees! |
You people are pathetic |
+1. I got tickets from a friend of a friend for face value, not everyone is paying outrageous amounts. |
Sorry you gotta be so mean, but I'm still in the Afterglow from last night's concert. It was the best day. |
