It says disabled AND chronically ill Also she said she had help when raising the kids |
I think so too. My biggest joy was teaching my kids and their friends. I have been told by many kids that I am the best Math teacher that they have ever had, because I can completely demystify Math for them and build up their knowledge from the ground up. I cannot think of something more worthwhile than this. |
You totally should! So needed. Please do it! |

You may need a bit more flexibility. There are a lot of remote customer service jobs out there but they will want you to work some evenings to handle west coast traffic.
I recently hired for an unrelated job. I interviewed about 10 people. The woman who got the job was the most flexible in her availability. Many of the women dictated to me what days and hours they would work. That did not work for us. |

with a 5 year gap and a master in computer science, I sent 200+ or more apps to land an entry level job.
I used to have a social science related background. why i changed to cs because it is even harder to find a job. so please keep searching. it may take months or even more than a year (to me). but you will have something at last. |

What about being a remote math tutor from the comfort of your home? My DC had remote math and physics tutors during and after Covid. DC said the lessons were just as helpful remotely as they were in person. And payment was made electronically after every lesson. These tutors charged $60-65 an hour in the DC suburbs, but I know it can go much higher. |
| Anyone on this board an HR manager? Please explain what is happening! Something is definitely going on. I’ve applied for numerous jobs and I’ve not even gotten a callback. Someone told me that companies are saying they need help so they don’t have to pay the federal government back for the PPE loans. |
No. You need your resume revised. You’re probably getting auto-disqualified. |

Some people really believe that you have to be 100% healthy to have kids. LOL.
OP didn't have energy for both her career and family, but that doesn't mean she is not able to work now. I'm from Europe, and it's completely normal in many counties to be SAHM for a few years and then rerun to work. |
No, the jobs exist. However, The “desirable” jobs still get a lot of applicants. In particular White collar remote jobs get lots of applicants. |
