Also the article said "between 60 and 80%," so you can tell the PP is being extra disingenuous because not only did they only acknowledge the highest possibility of vaccinated patients, they further exaggerated it by calling 40% "almost half." The actual statistic is that vaccinated patients make up 20-40% of hospitalizations. 20-40% is nowhere near "almost half." |
My theory: I think "MSM" has lost the plot where it comes to objective news reporting.
Their producers are now just thinking in terms of cliffhangers, plot twists, and adversity for serialization like their TV producer counterparts who sell adventure fiction. They think they need a horse race in order to sell their stories. They can't just have happy news, everything needs to be fraught with uncertainty, there can't be any clear wins, in the misguided notion that this is what they need to get people to keep coming back to them to see what happens next. |
