I'm and older Gen X married to a young Boomer. We are definitely different generations. As we age it becomes more obvious.

Agree. My mom was born in 1957 and she always said she never felt anything in common with boomers.

I was born in 78 so I'm Gen X but I don't feel that I have anything in common with someone born in 1957, either. The late 70's is definitely a micro-generation.

I was born in 1974 and one of my best friends was born in 1985 . I definitely have more stuff in common with her than someone born in 1957.

Born in 1973 and I have friends who are younger and older - and obviously I have the MOST in common with people who were born a few years before or after me. Gen X is used to being misunderstood and ignored, that said. Whatever.

Agree that seems odd. I am a very young boomer, had kids in my 30s and they are both millennials. I have a few friends with Gen Z kids but not many - unless they are men with younger wives.

Both myself and my wife are boomers first marriage we have a 21,19 and 14 year old. Pretty normal

Yeah. I am under the impression most college kids these days have gen x parents. All of my cousins who are in college have gen x parents, boomer’s kids are older.

The vast majority of gen z kids have gen x parents because most people have kids in their late 20s-early/mid 30s.
