The whole Egyptian thing is not correct. Obama supported Morsi as the democratically elected president. The Egyptian military, which had been in charge for decades, conducted a coup. We were hesitant to call it that. But it's a stretch to say we installed him. He is just like Mubarak and very solicitous to the US because we give them a lot of aid. |

“Kuwait's air defense system, which it buys from US companies, shot down 3 American planes. My tax dollars just shot down my tax dollars.“

You’re just now realizing the two major political corporations need each other and are more alike than different. They will publicly fight like cats and dogs on the few things they disagree on. They come at issues from different directions but in the end they behave the same way. Saudis and Israelis have a great deal of influence over us and neither have been fans of Iran. Completely upset this is happening and think it nonsensical now but no one should be surprised this happened. My great grandparents and grandparents generation believed WWIII would start in the ME. |
In other words, all the crap about this being necessary because the Iranian regime is so evil is a bunch of BS. |
+1 On one side you have the regular American people fighting to cling to a small amount of control over their Federal Government and on the other side you have the ultra wealthy mega-donors who control our Federal Government by buying out our politicians. I stand firmly on the side of the American people. If you support the corruption of our political system, you are ENEMY number 1 of the American people which historically hasn't been a good thing to be. |
| Saw some of Trump’s remarks today and he was laser focused- about the ballroom and gold curtains!!! Unfricken’ believable!!! We’re doomed! |
Look in the mirror. I notice you have nothing to add to the discussion but name calling.

And 150 little girls were killed so we can continue to support Israel.
WTF. |
Equatorial Guinea - small, small country just south of Cameron. Lots of oil and lots of poverty |

Spain isn’t allowing US to use their bases.
Interesting. |
Already seeing the cracks. There will be a civil war in this country. There is no way we can extend ourselves for the elite donors and their wars and not have a future for our own children. No effing way |
It won't be pretty but no way in heck the ultra-wealthy 2% can take down an the angry mob 98% who have banded together to remove corruption from their political system and government. We can do this. Together. |
There's not going to be a civil war. Please. The GOP wants the Dems to win the midterms and clean everything up. Even the vile Nick Fuentes has said as much. There's not going to be any resistance because more GOP and GOP-adjacent are saying the same thing. However, we need to prevent their comeback for a very, very long time (like preventing Fuentes from running a Nazi) so will have to be stratgic. |
|
That is the key, putting in meaningful ethics and other laws that will actually be upheld.
We have all sorts of laws that the administration and various republicans are breaking and there is no accountability for it. (not saying dems don't break laws, but generally speaking, the dems police their own, see franken, al) |
