they actually lost money on the old house. i don't remember the exact figures but i want to say somewhere between $50k-$100k, which begs the question of why they did it then.

They bought that house at the HEIGHT at the housing bubble. Everyone who bought houses in the area in 2006 was an extremely unfortunate victim of poor timing. Unless they lived in that house for 5-10 more years, there was NO WAY they were going to break even. I'd move on too, if I wanted and could afford it.

pft. I bought at the height of the housing bubble but I also sold at it so it evens out.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was all made up story to let Kane take his passive aggressive jabs at nat. He knows he can't outright talk about it on the air anymore especially after that huge slip on Friday or it's going to hurt him in divorce court...

If you've worked in healthcare with OCD people, then you know that the disorder is ego-dystonic. That is, their behavior is inconsistent with their own beliefs (even if they subconsciously don't want to do it they HAVE to). And because of this they can unintentionally make their lives and the lives of those around them a nightmare. This has probably been a long time coming and if nat making the first move is what it took than good for her. I'm sure they will both be happier apart and raising their girls, instead of trying to force making living together work.

Yea that was a sad attempt at grabbing sympathy by pretending that bashing nat on air is the "high road"....sadly many of his listeners believed him. Pretty much the opposite of any high road... if anything he took the freaking metro and got stuck underground somewhere near Chinatown

yeah i hear you, i know a lot of CEOs of big, but local, companies and have been to their houses. i myself have a 4 bedroom place and no kids so it's probably more than i need. but i also know i won't be moving until i truly, truly need the space, not because of money but because i don't enjoy moving.

eh, that's normal conversation for the show. i don't think you can read into it and make connections between that conversation and anything between N + P. there are a ton of workaholic husbands in this world.
