Second vote for Mark West Pinot Noir.

You can get it many places but we usually get it at Rodman's in DC for anywhere from $10 to $12 a bottle.

Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc: best price at Costco!

A third vote for the Mark West!!

I also like the Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc.

Lindeman's Shiraz. $9 at Giant and totally drinkable. (All I really ask is not to wince with every sip.)

If you like Merlot, the Bogle is pretty good for no more than $10 per bottle. If you can find the Colores de Sol Malbec at Giant, that's a good one that goes on sale for $9. Cupcake has some decent reds, and I also like the Mark West pinot.

Fat Bastard Red or white, any year. Robert Mondavi Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon most years great, the older the better. Chateau Graves, white any year. Ravenswood Red,any year. Whole Foods or Super Fresh Tenelytown. If I really want a winegasm I go to Bass wine and Spirits on MacArthur Blvd nest to Safeway. MEGA. Really GREAT EXPERT ADVICE THERE, from nice people. And good prices. I have absolutely no affiliation with them.

For my nightly glass of wine, I go with the CK Mondavi. The big bottle. It's almost always on sale at Giant.

BV Coastal Cab. Costco, Magruders, and probably lots of other places.

Anything people like with a twist-off cap? I have arthritis in my hands and have a hard time with the corkscrew.

Hogue makes good wines with a twist-off cap. I'm partial to white, and like their fume and sauvignon blancs, but the reds are good too. Available at Total Wine and Harris Teeter.
