I like Kenwood Chardonnay. Found everywhere, but cheapest at Target.

This thread is making me jealous that I can't buy wine at the grocery store in Maryland. Good thing there is a wine store on my walk to the metro.

Kendall Jackson Chardonnay has always been my go-to

My favorite new wine is Pennywise Cabernet. I bought it at the relatively new liquor store in silver spring, on 2nd avenue, just north of colesville.

I love Chateau De Beaucastel Chateauneuf-du-Pape. I've always had good luck finding wine at Schneider's.

My ol' reliable is - Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. Though I love nearly all rieslings, especially the dry ones.

Ravenswood Zinfandel - Most anywhere sells it.

For even cheaper - 3 buck chuck and Yellowtail Merlot. not my favorite but not terrible.

I love the Wine Cube(s) that are sold at Target. The wine is generally as good as your average $8 to 10 bottle, but for half the price! The riesling in particular has become a favorite, but the pinot grigio is pretty good too. It's been so long since I've had the reds (pg right now) that I don't remember which ones are good. If you get the largest cubes on sale for $15.99 it comes out to $4 a bottle! And because of the way it's packaged it stays fresh for up to 4 weeks, so you don't have to worry about finishing a bottle, which is convenient because I'm the wine drinker in our house and DH prefers beer. And the packaging is more eco-friendly than glass bottles.

I've never heard of Target Wine Cubes. Which specific Target(s) carry this?

Whole Foods or Super Fresh Tenelytown. If I really want a winegasm I go to Bass wine and Spirits on MacArthur Blvd nest to Safeway. MEGA. Really GREAT EXPERT ADVICE THERE, from nice people. And good prices. I have absolutely no affiliation with them.

Second vote for Fat Bastard. My favorite is their Shiraz.

I got a really nice French Sauvignon Blanc from While Foods. I forget the brand. It was a $15.99 bottle and was on sale for $9.99, if that helps. It was twist off. There are a lot of good French wines with twist off caps.

Rosemont Pinot Grigio has a twist top- nice light summer wine.

Also good, Target carries "House Wine" in red and white...served it at a casual dinner party and had loads of comments about how good it was (and great price!).

Corridor Wines in Laurel, MD. I love that store, it's like a toy store for wine.
