If you could go anywhere in the Contintental US for 3 days, where would you go?

Bay Area/ Napa/ northern California coast. Though you'd have to pick one, if you can really only spend three days.

Closer to home... someplace in the Appalachians.

CA is nice, but with just three days I wouldn't want to spend that much time in a plane.

Eastern Shore, Middleburg, or Coastal Virginia/Delaware beaches. Somewhere quiet. Long walks, good meals, reading. Have fun!

Napa. Carmel/Monterey. The Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island.

For three days closer to home I'd say Philly or NYC. If you wanted to fly somewhere close, the Cape. (I wouldn't go all the way to Maine, personally.)
