Gonzaga vs St. John’s has brought out the best chatter. The rivalry is great. Can they play today?

1 vs 2 in the Lacrosse Nation!! Awesome for DMV lacrosse. Should move the game to Georgetown University.

Georgetown prep middie #15 ( Georgetown commit) out for rest of season with broken jaw. Crazy amount of injuries this season.

Injuries happen to every team. Recruiting depth is very important for team success.

Hearing half of Preps starting lineup is hurt. I didn’t see the FOGO playing on the Brunswick stream.

Is this really just a Gonzaga mom thing? Definitely a Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Kensington trend, but those boys go all of these schools. Do Landon, Prep, Bullis moms not wear white jeans?
Maybe not SJC since they are all from Annapolis or Southern MD according to this thread...

2nd Quarter #25 hit Heights defender in the head & shoulder with his collarbone on a clear (he did actually get penalized for it too.)

So is it confirmed they are both out for the year? Someone on another thread said that one of them played in the 4th but others say both have broken collarbones.

GZ is screwed without the UNC commit if he is out for the year.

UNC commit has a broken collar bone - that is confirmed. Probably out for the year. My son broke his a few years ago and they told us 6-8 weeks but cleared him at week 5 based on his xrays. That would be just in time for playoffs but I certainly wouldn't risk another injury with UNC on the horizon.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Shouldn’t try hitting someone in the back next time!

If you figure it out let us know. Would like to see those schools sideline talent too.

It in fact was an extremely dirty hit to the back of the defenders head, but the UNC kid finished with his collarbone to the Heights kids shoulder. And the GZ kid is out for the season with a broken collarbone while the heights defender probably only sits out this week with a broken shoulder.
